Christmas 2012

This post is FULL of pics.....(because it's my blog and I can;)...hehehe.  We had a VERY BUSY Christmas Eve and Christmas!  We hosted all the family gatherings, so at least we didn't have to leave:)  On Christmas Eve, for lunch, my parents and my brother's fam came over.......I can't believe how big my nephew is getting!!!  Mom made some AWESOME chicken n noodles for us and lots of goodies too.  YUM!  The kids were all running around like little banshees, eagerly awaiting the moment when they could tear into their gifts, lol.  Before we got started, I managed to get the 5 grandkids in a pic together:) Hannah was all comfy on Aunt Meg's lap though, and was NOT happy about getting the pic taken, lol.  Oh well, at least the rest of them are smiling!

Before you take in the rest of this post, just know that our kids are completely spoiled by their grandparents, aunts, and uncles.  We love it because then we don't have to buy them much, HAHA!! :)

On Christmas Eve evening, we went to our church for the communion service.  It was soooooo special, as it was Reese and Hannah's first experience:) A beautiful ceremony.  We came home and did all the traditional Christmas Eve stuff with the kiddos.  First, we set out Santa's milk, cookies, and fudge....and a carrot for Rudolph!  

Clad in jammies, we went outside to sprinkle "Reindeer Food" on the lawn!  Hannah was all like "whaaaaatttt?" 

On Christmas morning we LUCKED out and they ALL slept until 7:45!  I think the good Lord knew they would need the extra rest.....mama too.  When they woke up, they came running out to see what Santa left for them in their stockings!  The grandparents come to watch on Christmas morn too....and Mamaw makes us Cinnamon Rolls every year!  

They were SOOOOOO excited about their gifts! Mostly Ninja Turtle stuff for Ryker......

Cars stuff for Reese.....

Monster High stuff for Haylie.....

....and babies for Hannah!!  I was stoked to buy this asian American Girl doll from my friend!  Hannah is kinda hard on dolls, so a new AG doll is out of the question right now:)  She LOVES her new babies!

Christmas evening, my parents and Ryan's side of the fam come over for supper and MORE gifts!  By now, Reese and Hannah have figured it alllllll out lol.

This necklace was from my SIL and fam:)  PERFECT for me!!  It has the ASL sign for I Love You and "Wo Ai Ni" which is I Love You in Chinese!!  LOVE IT!

  

Needless to say, the kids were totally exhausted.  I think Reese was more overwhelmed than anyone because poor little guy really struggled with tantrums the day after:(  I even found him asleep on my bed at 5pm!  We have just chilled the rest of the week and enjoyed playing with new stuff!  

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!!  I know we did and we are so thankful to have the littles home this year!  I can't wait to share all of Carlee's "firsts" with her next year:)
